Keeping nuclear facilities secure from internal or external threats is of paramount importance. A team of international security experts has visited Romania’s Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant as part of an IAEA IPPAS mission to advise Romania on the security of its nuclear facilities. IPPAS missions are designed to help countries strengthening their national nuclear security regime.
