NUCLEUS information resources

The IAEA's NUCLEUS information resource portal provides access to over 100 scientific, technical and regulatory resources, including databases, applications, publications and training material. As it is mainly meant for IAEA counterparts in the government, industry and scientific community, NUCLEUS hosts a number of resources that require registration. Many sites, however, can be accessed without a password.

Global Safety Assessment Network

The Global Nuclear Safety Assessment Network (GSAN) facilitates the focused collaboration on safety assessment capacity building in support of global nuclear safety harmonization, especially in expanding and developing nuclear programmes worldwide.

Global Assessment of Nuclear Data Requirements

GANDR is a set of computer programmes that generate correlation matrices, which rank the accuracy of various types of nuclear data.

Fusion Evaluated Nuclear Data Library

This Library contains selected evaluated nuclear data files in ENDF-6 format.

Food Contaminant and Residue Information System

FCRIS is a resource on chemical food contaminants with a focus on Codex food standards and guidelines and on reducing the incidence of food trade rejections as a result of chemical contaminants and violative levels of residues.

Experimental Nuclear Reaction Data

This database, also known as EXFOR library, contains an extensive compilation of experimental nuclear reaction data, comprising data from more than 22,000 experiments.

Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File

ENSDF is a database that contains evaluated nuclear structure and decay information for over 3,000 nuclides.

Evaluated Nuclear Data File

Core nuclear reaction database containing evaluated cross sections, spectra, angular distributions, fission product yields, photo-atomic and thermal scattering law data, with emphasis on neutron induced reactions.

ENSDF Analysis and Utility Programmes

ENSDF Analysis and Utility programmes (ALPHAD, LOGFT, etc.)

ENDVER

ENDF File Verification Support Package. Experimental and evaluated nuclear reaction data are compiled world-wide in EXFOR and in ENDF format, respectively (see documents IAEA-NDS-1 and IAEA-NDS-10).

EMPIRE – Nuclear Reaction Model Code

EMPIRE is a flexible and easy-to-use tool for the basic research and evaluation of nuclear data.

Direct Application of Phosphate Rock

This site is aimed at guiding decisions and providing recommendations on the use of phosphate rock (PR) as fertilizer, predict their cost-effectiveness as a source of phosphorus for crop productivity and its long-term sustainability and environmental consequences of using soluble P and phosphate rocks.

Database for Prompt Gamma-ray Neutron Activation Analysis

This database offers a variety of tables for all natural elements and includes the following data: isotopic composition, thermal radiative cross section (total and partial), Westcott g-factors, energy of the gamma rays (prompt and delayed), decay mode, half life and branching ratios.
